Yeah, you would. I guarantee neither company will back up any custom wiring you do to their circuit board. Thats why Novak gives you external plugs on their board, so you dont solder on it and mess it up. LRP has set wire lengths that just like the Speed Passion you would have to solder onto the circuit board to change. No company is going to honor a warrantee if you change something from the origional.

so over the last 4 years the esc's that i have had repaired with black 14 or 18 awg wire they mistakenly fixed at no cost to me ? . If they have solder tabs externally.. at least LRP will take care of it.. unless thats what screwed things up.. but I don't screw things up when I melt metal lol

In that pic you have the Futaba 2.4 FAAST RX with the antenna just tucked away. Is that how you run it? Do you even have to put those types of antennas up with a tube?
