Thanks for all the pics guys. Seeing it on the car always beats just looking at the dimensions.

AdrianM: those are some serious servo mounts you got on that thing!

I have seen some pictures with LIPOs in the MI3's...what are you guys doing about weight?

The things I am considering is what would be the required weight required to keep the car in balance, and also the weight required to keep the car ROAR legal specs?

My 3200 Orion LIPO packs are so light, I am planning to buy some 3600's but they are not much heavier. When I look at the pics in the thread I see LIPOs, but no added weight to the car.

Is the Core5000 the same weight as an NIMH 4200 pack?

My fusion 4200 pack is 430 grams and my LIPO 3200 is 195 grams...
Where and how in the world am I going to put about 235 grams of weight in the car only on the right side of the car?

On the Xrays at my local club they have built these large u-shaped brackets that hangoff the side of the car around the battery...all of the weight is outside of the chassis, that cannot be helping with driveability.

I thought about putting some weight under the battery, but 235g is alot of weight to fit under that battery.

Any ideas or options out there?

What are you guys doing to overcome this problem?
