I'm assuming the Trakpower 4900 Li-po packs will not fit into the Mi3 at all?

Anyone tried lasting a Mod Race using 3600 Lipo, does it?

Thank
Skiddins

The Trackpower fits under the bulkheads, but the plug location prevents you from putting the pack all the way in, you need to angle it, so that the rear of the pack is just off the chassis.

hey do the orion 32oo carbon spec lipo fit the mi3? just thought the plug might hit the top deck?
also i run low grip aphsalt so what will i probbably order with the car so far it looking like:
tungsten carbide thrust and diff balls
p dub bumper (ill need it)
quick clips for wheel base
roll bars
then suspension arms (which ones?)
anything else? anything on this car break apart from suspension arms carriers and driveshafts?
also which are stronger the kit turnbckles and hinge pins or the titanium items? im not a good driver so strangth is more important than weight specially with lipo
i own a mi2ec apart from driveshaft there a great car but i havnt tried the new silver ones so ill wait and see
oh does any one have a pdf file of the full mi3 manual? cheers

Hey josh,

- You don't need the sway bar kit - at Bris tracks it's either the kit bar or nothing
- stock hinge pins and turnbuckles are plenty strong enough
- If you want to experiment with arms, try the mid-flex arms, ut not the extra-flex
- Car ships with quik clips for wheelbase adjustment - so you don't need extras
- Manual can be downloaded here

If you go with an mi3, for Bris area tracks we are having very good success by sticking close to the 'chris ashton tarmac test' setup included in the instruction manual. It's a good place to start.

cheers

This probably sounds like a silly post.

Does anyone else have problems with the wheel hexs chewing up wheel rims over time ?

This seems to be more of a problem on the front than the rear. Even after 1 run with new wheels and tyres the fronts seem to be hard to get off the car.

Do people run the washers between the hex and the wheel ? Im thinking this could have something to do with it.

Its starting to do my head in now.

Yeah lots of us have had this problem, you need part U3221 which is a new hex without the groove in it so theres more contact with the hex in the wheel.

For the tarmac tracks I run on I remove the spacer on the front wheels(leave the rear on)...makes the car a little more nimble and have no problem...I use speedmind premounted sorex 36s ....make sure you are using a rim with a deep hex...some are not deep enough...hence stripping out

Cant you reverse the hex so the groove faces the axle?
