Is there a battery strap available for the MI2 and will there be one for the MI3, I hate taping batteries?

It looks like the swaybars on the mi3 have to be mounted the other way round - isn´t it?

Or why did they drill the additional hole in the rear arms?

Ok, I have a question and I'm not trying to instigate anything but...the new Mi3 will accept 4800 Lipo, 3200 Lipo and 6-cell battery packs even though you were pushing for a change to 4-5 cells only. Does that mean that the whole battery change debate is pretty much over and Lipo really is the future? I don't really want to start that debate here but it's just a question...and I do like the looks of the Mi3 and almost bought an Mi2 until the whole battery debate started and I decided to only race my Mini until that all gets sorted out.

Interesting design,

Was looking at how the inner hinge pins are attached. Can't figure out how the roll center at the hinge pin is ajusted. Any ideas?

No, the battery debate is still going on. They're designing the car for what is raced today, not in a year or two. If racing ends up going 4 or 5 cell in the future, I'm sure the following car will be designed for that. What would the point be of designing a car for fewer cells if the rules haven't been decided. If they didn't end up going that way, they'll have a car that can't raced.

Its quite a bit diffrent. The T2 uses a block that carries the hinge pin and bolts to the side of the bulk head. They can change width and toe. To change roll centers they have a 2nd block so they have 2 roll center options.

The Mi3 has a block that bolts to the bulkhead. The allows changes in width and toe but we have a 2nd lower block that bolts vertically to the upper block. This allows us to adjust roll center to any setting we like. This is a big deal since 0.5mm cange can be felt on the track by a good driver.

At the moment any car has to be able to take any cell config. Just in the UK we have 4, 5 and 6 cell racing for this year - and obviously some people running LiPo when they are allowed.

It's interesting to see that Corally have "nailed their colours to the mast" so to speak and are doing 2 seperate kits for their new car - 5 and 6 cell. Nice in theory, but anyone that buys a Euro 5 cell car is then kind of stuck with that unless they buy a new chassis.

Yes, those extra holes in the wishbone are for Anti Roll bar mounts - the bar does mount "the other way" compared to Mi2EC.

You guys can help me and figure this out (something might be wrong with my eye)....is Mi3 using a "MONO-ARM" design (like motoGP style) @ the spur/pulley axle area...? I saw that when the spy pics released a month ago but I was not 100% sure I saw what I saw....But from the picture below, I can see the shaft is going to the motor side of bulkhead, but the other side of the shaft (after the middle pulley running the rear belt to the rear big pulley) is hanging in the air..

However, I am concerning about the exact same reason...mono-arm has only 1 point of support, and that area is covered by a flange bearing (just my guess)....will that be a little be to much for only 1 point of support? If a bearing is bad, the whole axle might be off....just my concern, and I am sure Schumacher engineering department has that area covered.
