As far as the cost goes...hey unless you want a RTR car they are all 400 and up. get used to it.
The Mi3 caught my eye because I wouldn't mind running another class. And as I said before, I'll ALWAYS have soft spot for Schumacher's TCs. So I guess if they put it in the $400 range, I'll have to save up.

So the Mi2EC sold for $419.99 and the Carpet Spec sold for $439.99 (because of the diff and 2.5mm carbon is 20% more expensive than 2mm) and they came with EVERYTHING. In reality these cars were way cheaper to buy and race compared to what we used to sell.

However, they told me (back then) the Mi3 will be low CG like everyone else....it is ALL because that is the standard of the market. Afterall, Schumacher is a business. Of course, they can continue to fight against the odd and be different, but the customer will think the new Mi3 is not as good as T2007, RDX Phi , 415 MSXXXXX because it does not offer low CG of everything just like the others. And they cannot compare.
Business is always business, if the car does not attract buyers, it will never be a good car.

i have to say that from a manufacturing standpoint, these cars are not expensive for what you get.with the competitive manufacturing market and the chinese working for pretty much free,it makes this possible.the work that goes into these cars is mind boggling and i know it is impossible to supply what you get for a lesser price tag.if we were to all go back to molded plastic tubs, molded bulkheads or tranny housings, crumby bearings, carbon steel turnbuckles and loose tolerances, cars would be much cheaper.i am looking forward to the release of the Mi3.

Heck, it was the fact that Schumacher was different and sometimes odd, that attracted me to them over and over again.
I mean theres just nothing like driving something totally different from everything else, yet still do as well or better.
Ahhhhhhhh.......I miss my Axis!

Thats why both of my Mi2EC will stay with me for a while, unless the Mi3 ended up to be a "MUST HAVE" item (I hope they are)...........I don't see the Mi2EC that I have right now are any slower then the current model by others.

But once I took a closer look, I was like "ahhh....Schumacher is at it again...YES!"
I just got one question, will it accept either the Orion 3200 or 4800 LiPo?

Yes, the right side bulkheads on the Mi3 are designed to accept the Platinum 4800 LiPo. The 3200 fits just like a 6 cell pack so its fine too.
