i use ko rx, and ko 951 servo, tekin rs. mrt transponder. the rx pack is a zippy pack 380mah. sensor wire is the tq. with this layout, the rev5l is almost balance 10g right side heavy. just tried it last night so I guess i can move my transponder to the left. that is without the pod.

Here is a picture of my previous ride. BMI DB12RR. This was perfectly balanced on the pins with no added weight. All the excess wires are under the steering servo. I just removed the electronics and taped them down in the 12r5.1. Again perfect balance with no added weight. 730g with light weight body and "full size" tyres. We are running a 750g limit in Australia next year so add a transponder and i will be spot on.
Another little trick is the rear shock ball cup has been replaced with a quick change one. Makes changing the battery so simple.

sweet, i meant the gears themselves tho, pinion/spur..thanks...:^)also with the tq wire, are the individual wires themselves more flexiable,or is it the outter plastic/rubber shielding..

oh, sorry, prs spur and pinion. 76 spur / 55 pinion. i think the individual sensor wire is more flexable, so i removevd the outer shield. i tape the sensor wire on the battery and leave the slack between the batt and the pod.

in 13.5 i run a 76 spur and 46 pinion. we have quite a large layout on the track. the track is 5 rolls of crc carpet and about 120' long. so I am running low timing and high gearing and using the turbo of the tekin to get the speed on the straights.

The hard part is not crimping the servo and transponder wire. It is soldering the plugs on so they can fit into the connectors.
