Hi guys,

I was just wondering, what is your setup for high grip asphalt where the the T1 FK04 is able to keep up with the modern touring cars?
It's for 10.5T.
Seems like the modern cars are faster in its rotation and in the turns.

Cheers!

Hi Welcome to the Forum and thanks for sharing your beautiful car on this thread... i was wondering if you could speak a little more to the setup of the car
and also if you could give a little feedback relating to the differences you see with much newer cars if you are racing against them... or even you are not,
what sort of times is your car running in comparison to others.

I am running an T1 evo 2 . But currently in need of a rear ball diff pulley. Does anybody know which ball diff / gear diff is compatible with the evo2. Any body out there have tried other brands of ball diff.

The T1 FK should be able to rotate just as quick as any modern car becuase the motor is in the middle of the car. Run a really tight ball diff at the front, a loose but non slipping ball diff for the rear, and use light springs all around, lighter for the rear of course. Use soft inserts all around and the same tyres the fast guys use. also dont forget to weight balance the car. Shift your batteries as far forward as possible and use antiroll bars that arent too hard.

hotbodies i have the spec r gear diff 34t in my t1 and t1m it goes straight in the t1 from memory but i had to mess about with it to get it in my t1m.
i also run a shorty lipo pack and have flipped the stering to the other side.
this car goes really well on carpet and i usually beat most of my club members running t3's etc

would you mind posting a photo of the spec r 34T gear diff that is in yr T1. what about the positioning of the center pulleys. does it all align with spec r gear diff it. yr photos would really help me in maintaning my car. yes. i do use a shorty pack lipo batt to run my t1.
