Xray T1
Is it true that HPI Sprint belts (both big and small one) work very well on the T1 FK 04 ? Has anyone tried it ?

Is there a hard case ROAR approved Lipo that will clear the belt when placed across the back?
glad to see there's still plenty of love for the T1's
i'm just about to resurrect an Fk04 as a drift car so if i find out anything of interest i'll let you guys know. i'm looking to fit my LRP saddle Lipos into mine so i'll let you know how they fit once i've tried wedging them in

BTW still no answer to my question about Sprint belts ?
no way i'd be wanting to use a stick lipo down one side.
the whole point of me choosing a T1 is the near perfect side to side balance that the centrally mounted motor & saddle pack configuration gives
yeah i guess i can add ballast to redress the balance issue from a stick but i'm trying to keep this reasonably light so i'm going down the saddle route first

Anyone know what the "empty", no tires/wheels, no servo, no esc, no motor, no body, no battery, weight of the T1, T2 or T3 is ? Grams, OZ, doesn't matter.
thanks

I have a 2nd T1FK04 Roller hat I took of the wheels but left the fasteners on and weight it. It has plastic shock bodies that are lighter than aluminum. It also has spring steel outdrives and wheel axles in the front and aluminum c-hubs and bearing cariers that are heavier than the stock parts. There are no battery mounts and It comes in at 501 grams.

going through tight sections of the track... with saddle packs, you will still need to balance the car... running a single pack just simplifies things for me... just
remember you won't be able to use the battery straps with Saddles..
See and example of saddle packs:
