You "might" be a bit mislead by the leaking. The lower cap gets filled with shock oil after the bleeding process and after tightening it on-the oil that has filled the cap continuously leaks out. I hate it too. Messy.
I am not 100% saying your wrong-just an observation from my own xray shock experiences. Also-replacing the black o-ring that sits on the body of the shock can be helpful too. YOurs may be worn out, cut or even missing.
Of course if you steadily loose rebound-then hear air in your shock in short order-well I'll just shut-up!!!

That, I don't know. I'll have to look around and see.
To mount the shocks, use Tamiya's mounting hardware . With that, I think it's an easy fit, IIRC.

Recently got an FK and would like to get any foam set-ups for an asphalt track. All the quick guys use 40shore fronts and 40shore rears and will also be using the same set of tires, so any help on some setups that might work for the car.
Another thing, What are the pros and cons of placing the batteries to a split position (one side is closer to the front)?
Regards,

Does anyone have a good set up sheet for a T1R that would be good for outdoor racing with a Stock Motor?

white springs all around, 2* camber, 2 holes open, 3rd hole in front tower, 4th on rear, 2* toe-in, 1/2* toe-out.
That's almost my outdoor setup exactly. I run 6 degree caster blocks, as most outdoor tracks seem to be more open and flowing where you'd need more on-power steering.

I run 3* blocks, havent really had time to experiment with others.

It would be great if you listed your setup. I run a spool & a light diff in the rear and havent had this problem.
