Post subject: Customs Update

Our shipment was transferred last week to the holding facility, and customs started sorting through the container. After speaking with personnel in Houston on Monday, RC America was told that it could be a multi-day process. Customs estimated the shipment will be available at the end of this week. The process of searching for the textiles required the entire ocean container be emptied at the customs facilities, and as a result, we will not need to arrange for the actual container to be forwarded to us. Instead, the shipment will be delivered to us using one of our trucks, eliminating any more unforeseen delays. We hope to have the shipment delivered by the weekend, so we can use that time to receive the product into our inventory, and allow us to start next week ready to ship. As the status changes, we will try to keep everyone informed. As was stated before, RC America encourages our customers to contact us directly with any questions or comments.

We understand the frustration with this delay. RC America has been doing everything possible, with the help of XRAY/HUDY, to resolve this issue and improve our process to avoid future shipment issues. We appreciate those who have waited patiently through these delays, and we hope that those of you who have been unable or unwilling to wait will give RC America a chance to serve you in the future.

Hey all,
Well, I will be joining all of you, with running an Xray. Some of you know me, some are thinking, "Who the hell is this guy?!? ". Hopefully I will be able to help out with any questions, as I know there are a couple of guys on here who are serious Xray gurus. I used to run Xrays back several years ago, and am very excited about joining Xray again. Anyways, hopefully I will have the car and the buggy some time next week, if all goes well.

haha, thanks P2. No, I can't make the Regionals. For one, my car won't be here. On top of that, SATs are on Saturday, and I am in the Robotics club at school, and the demo day for the state competition is on Sunday...
