It really depends on a few things.

First-if its the new Jaco-rims-which are a larger diameter-you can only get down to about 2.199". Any smaller and your running on felt covered plastic.

Second-the level of grip available in the racing surface. If its low grip, larger tires will provide more side bite and smaller tires might just slide.

And last-sometimes smallish 2.19" to 2.22" are the hot ticket.

I ordered the arms off of the Xrays web site. The order comes directly from Serpent. When I called them last week they said that they had just received a large shipment of them, so they should be pretty easy to get now. As far as installation goes, you pretty much just move the hinge pin mounts from the inside of the bulkheads to the outside.

As a point of reference, the last time I ran TC at the Gate, I ran old style CRC (same diameter as Older Jaco) wheels with a tire diameter of 2.185, car was DIALLED!!!!

XRA302032 - it's the aluminum nut that is used to hold the little plastic shaft pivot to the bulkhead. Or you can cut the one in the front and back in half....

I think they come in pairs and you need four of them, two front, two rear.

Just need to steal the droop screws from your long arms as well.

Guys, I just finished adding my servo to my T1R, but seem to be having trouble with the drivetrain now. I have Jaco Foams on and they have not been trued down in the front (28mm). I adjusted the trim so that they don't rub the shock cups in the front, but I had to turn the epa even farther down so that the axles didn't grind. Now I have a rather large turning radius and don't think it will work for racing. Any ideas?

Do you have any 26mm tires? Try those one there, and see if it continues. And you'll probably see as the wheels get turned either all the way left or right, the axles with bounce on the thottle, although I haven't noticed anything bad on the track, it just does it on a car stand. Hey! We've all got the same avatar

Does anyone have any input on running long Frt Arms & Short Rr Arms, like the losi xxx-s carpet setup?

What we did at the Snowbirds was just as you just wrote. Put on as much steering as you can, but the tire schould not tuch the Shock cup mounted at the A arm. If you made this right you will have no problem with steering. That schould be all.

I did try this but it was not better in any configuration. I would suggest that you use the short A arms both front and rear, and after that work on your setup. That schould do it for you.

It changes the roll center of the car to reduce the roll tendancy. This lets you run softer springs, but not traction roll. the car will react faster to inputs, have more grip, and more corner speed.

that's the theory anyway. All (most?) of the factory and top xray drivers are going to them.
