If I get a roll bridge do I need to still space the ball stud out, like you do on the Bulkhead mount?

yes, the roll center bridge just gives you a couple of additional roll center mounting options.

I had ran my T1 at my local club race. I had problems all night after the 1st quailfier, some cars was hitting my car, (oh well, that's racing for you), the inner bearing of the left steering knuckle blew out, did a quick fix and got out to finish the 2nd quaifier, lost at least 7 to 9 laps. Well, I ended up quailfing 2nd in the b-main, finished 2nd. Other drivers in the b-main made sure that I did not advanced to the a-main. Before I ran my car last night, I did some changes to the car. I had set my anti dive at "0" and set the caster at 4 degree. Before my car was pushing alot, now it's not......, but now I have to learn how to drive a bit more now. Car was handling very well. But my batteries are crap, need to get some good batteries now.

anybody find that the weakest parts on this car are the hudy steel axles and bearings. I have one way in my car and my axles are always getting bent plus their on backorder and the bearing shields pop off and and ruin the bearings or they fold in. Wut bearings do you have in your car and how do you keep your axles from bending

You must be hitting something real hard to be bending those axles...
for bearing..I had the same problem as well...but not anymore since I bought some highspeed Blue sealed bearing from Ebay..around $25.00 for a full set...

I had problems also with the bearing shields but I talked with Mario Hudy and Ralph Burch and they sent me the high speed blue bearings for free. It seems that they had a batch lot problem with the bearing manufacturer and the shields popped off. If you continue to see that problem, I would switch the bearing side with the shield popping off to the inside to protect it.

And yes, I have bent one of those drive axles too. They take a good abuse and they don't need to be switched unless they were really bent. Mine had about a mill or two of play. I have them as spares though just in case.

If you bend the axle...simply hammer it approx straight..put it back in the car and run it. You will find that they straighten themselves out (after a few packs) ....trust me...it works...they are made from spring steel!

Anymore suggestions on my previous question?

My question is how can I get the car to transition faster. Over all my handling was great. I already went down to 30 weight oil. Would changing the anit dive and squat to 0 degrees help. Or how about lengthing the camber links.

What effects does changing the dive and squat have?

rc-zombies, I just traded that stinky pile of TC3 for a brand new GT7 and a body for my Losi NT.

Scrad- If you are not doing so already- use the stiff upper deck...this will make your car much more responsive to steering inputs.

Shorten you turnbuckles will tend also help. Lengthening them usually makes that end more stable...which is the reverse of what you want.

Scrad-also-lighter shock oil wont make your car more responsive in switchbacks. Just the opposite. But the key thing in transitions is throttle control and steering input. You cannot plow into them at full speed and just hammer through it. You'll usually pick-up a push and fight it till the end of the chicane. Shorther camber links with more angle in them will help. Also-standing shocks up more will help. Less rear toe in can help and less droop. But all these things can hurt you in other corners.

I usually set my car up to be easy to drive everywhere-and especially parts of track that takes the longest time to do. For example-my car might not be good in a slow chicane, but if theres 5 or 6 seconds of high speed corners in a 13 sec. lap-I'll set up car for those corners more.

Don't forget to ensure that the belts aren't too tight. That might contribute to how slow your car is.

And make sure that the pulleys are clean. This is an all to forgotten task that really makes a difference.

My belt should be fine. I ran mod last time I ran that car and it was crazy fast.
