NovaLink hardware remains the same, software 1.4 beta is available. Are you asking for something else? Please explain, perhaps I don't understand.

That's the 1.4 Firmware for the ESC. I was hoping a new Novalink software 1.4 version was up and available.

All new screen, windows, additional notes setting, 1.4 at the top of the screen, thats what I'm looking at. If I got it, it must be close if its not there yet.

all novak has on the downloads page is the firmware for the Kinetic 1s not
the 2s. You must have the software too. Im lucky enough to live close to Charlie, and will be testing it tommorow!! A few of us team drivers just got it so Johnny may have 1.4 as well.....

We will be uploading the beta version of Kinetic 1.4 firmware and Novak Link 1.4 to our web site in the next few days.
Currently we are in the process of fixing some minor bugs. If you are interested in doing some beta testing please pm me.

Novak Link hardware has not changed but we have updated the firmware in the Nova Link, so you will have to update the flash.
We have program that you run once while the Nova Link is connected to the PC and it updates the firmware in micro on the Nova Link board.
This update allow us to control the power to the ESC via the software.
So you just connect the ESC to the Nova Link and click the connect button and it cycles the power to the ESC and the communication starts between the PC and the micro in the Kinetic. This also make the boot loader updater lot easier.

i noticed the connect button,very nice. the graphics and layout are much more modern, looks real good! the current limiter settings, being able to turn it off at a set rpm, and timing set points, are going to raise the bar for everyone!!! killer job Adnan

What are the advancements/improvements of firmware 1.4 for 2 cell?
Is it just bug fixes? or tweaks on the options?

Mine does that too with a 1s Kinetic. You can set it to .1 and it will update successfully.

I was hoping to eun with you this weekend but this rain said otherwise I was going to put the electrics back in the sadan to play at SWR I'm still TC6 all the way next season.
