How the heck do you build TC5R shocks

Yeah, it's not a great design but once together you will have great working shocks.

TC5 shock
had the same problem with the shocks....not a very good design...in my opinion...
had 3 TC5 (FT, R, F) all shocks leaked....just dropped on the Tamiya TRF shocks (gray Flourine or the new blue ones)..and bang ...your car will be sooooo happy...
by the way..the blue look awesome...

I've never had a leaking problem with them, but then all the ones I have built have had double o-rings.

I am building my TC5 right now as well - If you thought the shocks were bad wait until you get to the diffs!! I can not get the bolt to reach the nut, so I thought the nut was not setting all the way into the black plastic wing thing, so Like the shocks I thought I would just give it a really good push - which was not the right thing to do. Now I need a new black wing thing.
