I´m looking for longer kingpins for using larger springs at an RC10R5 frontend. Someone know what Associated kingpin or other 1/8" hingepin would be the right size? Maybe length of about 33 mm. I know there was something from an offroad car or truck but can´t remember which one.

It is 3mm carbon-hybrid aluminium or metal weave in it. Not sure but I think they bought it at carbon composite in Germany http://www.online-shop.carbon-compos...st=KAT11-10143. They first bought similar carbon plates that tweaked after a few times of driving so I will ask mathijs to be sure it is the correct supplier. Or he might shim in here when he reads this.

I finally got my RC10LS built but the Peugeot HD is too narrow at the back, the shell goes on but is touching the rear wheel sidewalls, anyone else find this?

The problem with the LS in your case is probably that the car uses the same rearpod assembly as the 10L does.
The rear axle is a similar axle as the 10L also. The manual states that you mount an axle spacer on both sides of the rear axle (#8321). Try to leave this spacer out on both sides and shim the rear axle with some axle shims until it runs free but stays clear from the body.
This particular rear end doesn't allow you to mount any aftermarket podplates such as the CRC of IRS parts.
What you could do is try to find the rear end parts from an L2 car and mount these on the LS. Then there are more options for some aftermarket parts on podplates and axles...
Good luck and keep us posted...

I have an L2 and with the peugeot I had to cut the wheel arches high (using IRS or the old associated TF non D-ring axle). The wheels are almost on the exact same line as the body if you are using 51mm wide wheels. I use Corally wheels now, they are 50mm wide and that 1mm is just enough to keep it a normal cut for the wheelarches (still higher then other cars). Next time i will play with a heat gun and see if i can fold the wheel arches wider. The Nissan P35, andy mercedes etc have more room at the back.

Homemade caps
Could you do a step by step with pictures on how exactly you made such good looking capped tires?

Thanks a lot for the replies Joost and 2wdrive! Great Info.
Joost I have t-bars from a RC10L20 and a RC10L2 top plate, just need to get the bottom plate, haven't seen any on ebay, I'll keep hunting.
2wd, maybe I will try the same thing and bend the body out a bit, I think if I cut the wheel arches high they could slice up the tyres. So your corally nissan body is wider at the back? I will have to get one of those.
Thanks again.
