How do you guys think this car would work for 13.5/ rubber tires on carpet? Are there going to be more parts available such as suspension mounts and caster blocks? I'm almost positive I'm going to pick up this car for racing this winter, as the parts support at my lhs for OFNA seems good.

I have all you guys beat, even before Carlito's profile was up

From last month's RCGT race I even have Dabao and Joey O.'s signatures in case they come close to fame

The car is OFNA part# 34720. Check with your local hobby shop. Also have a link.

Whats up guys! been a minute since ive been on the forums.

Finally raced with my JL10 for the first time last sunday at OC Circuits Corona track...wow it was hot and i had a high fever from when i woke up that day.

Bad enough i was really sick that day to drive...and all i had was D compound xpatterns with me..my car set up was stiff and the D's werent working for that set up..i dint have time to change my set up to a softer one so i just drove the car the whole time drifting at all corners! haha..counter steer here and there!.

Pls dont confuse the car not being good...it was my fault my set up was for high grip track.. and i dint have the proper set up for parking lot that day.

Since then i have changed my set up to a more neutral setting so i can quickly change it from stiff to soft suspension at anytime.

I have some Pro compounds in order so i would have a better selection of tires for each track condition.

I'll be racing the ABC car for now since i am in the abc series...4 more race's to go and i will be concentrating on the JL from then on....

Sorry Jeffrey, Dave and Steve if i havent spent as much as time i should be with JL. I was obligated to the ABC series before i drove the JL...just gotta finish 4 more runs.

I really appreciate the opportunity you guys have given me in the 3 months that i have come back from my 6 yr retirement from driving.

thanks guys.

Welp, that's it, I will only change tires to fit the surface!!!

And yes, I am the proud owner of a pre-production JL-10e, and the next time I think I can make a good thing better, well in this case smack me!!

Again Dave, Jeffery, THANKS for helping me see that the out-of-the-box roller JL-10e is set-up to run!!

The rule for 17.5 RCGT is "use the smallest spur gear, and the largest pinion and tune for temp"!! It is just a darn shame I don't follow my own rules, because if I had, I would have been tickled to just adjust the ride height and run'er. As it was I swapped out the shocks for adjustable and after Dave showed me the error of my ways, I returned to the clear plastic with only a oil and spring change to suit the OCRC carpet.

Again, I can not thank the guys from OFNA enough.

I am so thrilled, after being consistent with 12s I am now consistent with 11s.....yes, shaved a whole second off my lap-times, I even had a 10.8!!!

Just wait 'til I get that Supra body......look out Jeffery.
