Just picked up a Helios C2 limited edition today. Looks good, but I thought it was supposed to have a heat sink on the module? The number is the same, its got the RF-502FH, but there is no heatsink on it like the one on KO's site. Plus there is no xx of 900 card with it which is kinda dissappointing, but what ever.

I have none of those items as well... Yet, I cannot find on their web site(s) anywhere about it mentioning either.... But when I think about it, I think that the Heat sink is install over the CPU...when is in the casing. but the truth is I would rather have the rechargeable battery than the case. And It would have been nice to throw in a neck strap.....just to swallow the price alittle better.

Unhappy

This has been asked 1000 times...so here goes 1001. Is there no hard sided case out there for the EX-10 OR Z-1? The only one I see is Yeah Racing's ie) Dinball. Skeptical.

My (and I'm sure others) issue is this...I have the drop down wheel and Spektrum module. So I have a need for a fitted case for these add ons. 75% of racers I know have done the same setup. Why is no one making a hard case for this radio and add ons!?

Can someone help me out here? Is there something out there that I am missing?

I don't know if the case from the Helios C2 limited is avaliable seperately or not, but if it is that would be the one to get. You could goto canwestrc.net and Email Korgae and ask him about it. Canwest is the Canadian supplier for KO so if anyone can get it for you its them.

I got to try out my EX10 this weekend [BORAT] Very nice! [/BORAT]. This radio is so well balanced and comfortable to hold. It is pretty heavy though, oh well its not like its 10lbs or something.

Weren't you running an M11 before? To me the Z1/EX10 feels lighter than the M8/11. I really like my Z1.

Funny you say that. I thought the same thing until Scott told me to pull the antenna out. Complete balance is right!!

Nope, I was running an MX-3! Hahahaha! Had the same one for 4 years though, reliable radio, easy to use as well. I have a Li-po in it as well so it was feather weight. Then I bought a Nomadio (POS), now I got the Helios.

well, I got it fixed. took it to my LHS and as it turns out, i'm just an idiot.... I put the crystal for the TX in the RX and when I switched them, I was using a bad crystal set. Used the other one in the RIGHT configuration and it works a charm. I must say, im quite impressed with my helios. The feels is much better than any of my previous radios, and though its a little heavyer, I like it. Cant wait to hit the track for some real testing

Default EX-1 expert..

Since this is a KO thread.
Does anyone know anything about this TX?
It's been hiding in the storeroom for about 20 years.

which generation of EX-1 is this?

Oh man, that's old skool! I remember that good old Porsche steering wheel!

I couldn't afford the EX-I when I was a kid, so I had the EX-II with the white steering wheel.
