I'd have to agree on the Losi or old Associated. Most any hobby shop should be able to get or have parts for them. Before you make your final decision, see what your LHS carries parts for.

I don't know much about the Tamiya cars other than some places might not stock parts for them. But they would be a good option to consider. Since you are basically 'bashing' with it.. gets what the LHS stocks parts for. Speed and handeling arent your concerns.
