Default Losi XXX-CR DRIFTER?

I have a Losi XXX-CR that I put a Speedy's conversion kit and TC3 shocks on for a Late Model Oval Racer. Could I use that as a starting point and turn this into a drifter or will it not work because it is rear wheel drive?

Drifting is about power to weight ratios. There are a lot of real cars that are 'drift' cars that are rear wheel drive.

In this situation you will have a lot of mass over the rear wheels but with the right tire and shock setups it will give you an idea what you are wanting to do. Drifted in my 1:1 car .. never truelly designed an rc car for it. I'll pitch my 1/8 or 1/10 into a corner and drift around it when the track says thats the fastest way. I usually hate doing it though.

Hope this helps...

lol its a bit easyer to drift a 1:1 car then a rc car. to get his car to drift it my take a 19t or faster motor with hard springs and high oil wight in the rear so there is not or every little give.
