Silver Cans
Hi
Just wondering how to fit a silver can in the TC3 as the motor mount cam is too small for the motors.
Cheers

you need to remove some of the material from the cam. dremel, drill, mill, whatever you choose, try to do it properly and take your time. i haven't done it myself, but i can probably explain it if you need more details.

TC3 Featured on TechTV!
I just found out about this, and I didn't see any previous posts about it, so I thought I'd put it up...
less than a month ago, Cliff Lett appeared on the TechTV show, "The Screen Savers" to show off the world's fastest R/C Cars (the 80+MPH TC3 and the 111MPH 10L3 prototype). It was a pretty neat to see R/C Cars featured on this show. The show originally aired July 14th, and was recently rebroadcast on August 30th... here's a link to the story from thier website, which includes a video of the segment that aired.

Be patient if the video link doesn't connect... sometimes their Media Servers get bogged down. Oh, and when you DO see it, try not to laugh... these guys definitely have never tried R/C before...

That was pretty danged good!
I'd heard, though, that the actual 10L30 they used disintegrated - I thought someone like TonyP said that. . .can't remember. It was a while ago.
Still, not a bad bit - better than CC doing his "thing". . .

trinity- how long does your drivetrain spin for with foam tires or rubber tires on? also if you spin the bearing with your hand how much does it spin(ie a rotation, two rotations... etc)
thanks!

Johnny, the stuff dries to a wax so use it sparingly. You could test it out on an old ring gear if you have one or just barely squirt some around the ring gear once, do the same for the pinion and you should be set.
