Well you could but first you would have to have gears custom made and then probably new gear cases. Why would you want to anyway?

uhhhh, yes, but why?

the 2.5:1 is fine, why would you want to change it?

you can put some r2 gears in the boxes, but you would have to re shim it a lot

it is not like a tl01, you cant just drop in some integy speed gears and have the car go faster or have better acceleration

Default Transmission cases

Hi all,

I am in the process of building the kit and the Diff does not fit into the xmission case easily. When I snap it into the xmission, it seems that the bearing is putting pressure in the outdrive hub. Therefore there is too much friction. Any hints or has anyone seen this before?

Do you have the right amount of shims on the correct side of the differential? If so, don't worry about it and run the car, they will loosen up.

The diffs and the shafts were assembled correctly. The gear teeth side of the diff bearing fits nicely but the opposite bearing needs a snap to fit into the case. I think the SNAP is causing the bearing to put pressure on the diff outdrive hub causing the rubbing

hockey- most likely one of those gears is gone and needs to be replaced because it either got a stone in it, or most likely the mess was improperly set.
