No, I have never had any problems
|
Thanks man ... I'm gonna give it a try ... I don't often have to pull the hingepins out, but when I do it typically needs to be done in a hurry ...
|
Just remove the material that goes behnd the diff case, but leave the material that comes in contact with the front of the case.... this protects the pin mounts and pins from impacts....
|
Thanks ... I'll do that.

Slow on the sweeper
Hey I was racing this weekend at socal and my car seemed really slow on the sweeper. Im not sure if my car was slow or if it was just me. I just thought Id ask to see if someones experienced this yet with their TC3. I was running a one way for the first time. What should I check for sweeper action!!??:weird:

What are the best rubber tires to use on outdoor asphalt?

For carpet racing I am running 6 front 4 rear for droop. I am basically running the factory setup for carpet. The car is planted extremely well.

Ok guys... my Yok one-way for the TC3 and the bladder caps are on the way from SpeedtechRC. Is there any difference between the standard AE one-way of old.. compared to the new Yok one way... other than durability? Can or should i use a different lube in the bearings than the grease that is in them? Are there parts available from Yok for the one-way... or if there is failure... do i simply buy another? As far as the caps go... i know there is differing bound/rebound characteristics with bladders in shocks, and would like to know if anyone has experience building these for asphalt, and could give me some pointers. "Foam volume compensator" ...yes or no? My experience with bladders came and went with an old HPI pro of years ago. Since then i have used bleeding screws in the caps. So any help would be appreciated.

The Yokomo one-way is identical to the new Associated one. I have an old one-way by Associated and my lhs just got in the new Associated one-way and the Yokomo one-way. They are identical in everyway.
I have not tried my Yokomo bladder caps yet. Be interested in hearing your results. Later:) |

I don't get much practice when there's a lot of rebound in my bladder..... keeps me running to the bathroom.....LOL
|
Sorry Impact, I meant the shocks hold their rebound alot longer.
