my Jordan
Hey guys thought i'd share my Buzzin Hornet Jordan. I did this one originally about 12 yrs ago with my old F1, so this is reliving my youth... Much better second time around.
Had its first run yesterday, Survived the run, bit of ware on the front wing though
but worse can't get it to handle, i've read the past few pages and i too am having the high speed jiggles/wobbles, one time it goes right and then left, i have done some mods to try and sort it out, i can now hold it flat down a straight, but trigger finger application must be spot on and gentle, looking forward to hearing any setups or solving of the problem. I tightened both the shock collar, and friction plate nut down, as well as changing the t plate to the Tamiya soft one... little better but not great. what is the better tyre options for the car as apposed to the standard kits
thanks
Prime.

Prime,
Nice pics. The side is a little blurry, but still looks great. Ive heard B compound up front helps the 104. Perhaps the others can confirm this.
I watched the Tamiya driver run his in Marlboro McLaren colors a few weeks ago in Aliso and his was hooked from start to finish. He is supposed to have an article on setup for this car very soon. Keep checking the Tamiya USA website.

Great work there Prime!
There was a TCS race at Tamiya USA over the weekend and looks like there were quite a few F104s. If any of you were there, it would be great to hear from you and see your setups.
Cheers,
Vinny

Yeh I think that is to be expected. The chassis is still quite new, especially compared to the F103. Also the chassis is a fair bit narrower which could explain some of the nervousness people are experiencing. I think the tyres are a bit narrower too?
