The Speed Passion Thread
I got your PM and sent you one back.

My SP motor was definitely from 2014/2015.
I liked my 21.5 SP motor, it was a good motor, and wicked fast w/ the correct sensor board. I used it in my M05 and raced in the Tamiya M class at the time. for me the SP sensor boards didn't allow fine tuning, ..my motor was either super fast but temps were too high, OR the motor wasn't quite fast enough and temps were very low. The boards allowed timing in increments of 10degrees, ..I needed something in the 5degree increment as I recall, ..going up 10 was too much for what I was trying to achieve. So my 21.5 SP is now in my son's novice on-road car w/ the Yellow sensor board (I don't recall offhand what timing that allowed) but his motor runs cool and isn't too fast/slow.
Its ashame SP isn't in business anymore, I liked their ESC's and they had great prices. I still have about 3 of their ESCs in various cars and all are doing well.

Didn't want to necro the SP1.1 F1 thread lol
But need to ask - the Sp1 \ .1 had said it could do multi battery locations - but the manual didn't have anything about it.
After building the kit I grabbed a 2s shorty pack... and theres no way in hell I can slide it in under the top decks - yet I have seen others pics showing the
a shorty liop right down the guts - but the only way I could see that happening was... to undo the top deck?
Is this what people did?
Thanks in advance

Hi guys,
Have not raced in years and I'm blowing the dust off a few of my Tamiya cars to run some laps I've got TA05 V2 with a Speed Passion GT 2.1 Pro Stock ESC and a SP 3.0 17.5 motor. It all works but I want change settings.
Questions....
1. With Speed Passion done is there a chance I could find and a program card out there? If I did find one .....could I find the firmware somewhere?
2. Is there a competitive program card out there that I could use with updated software?
3. I have a manual for the SP GT 2.0 ESC. Did SP ever make specific instructions for GT 2.1 Pro Stock ESC?
Thanks for any help you can give me,
Cheers.

2. No
3. It is the same as the GT2 Pro, GT2.1 Pro Stock is just a stock motor use ESC, like a 80A unit vs the GT2 Pro which is a 140A
