Are the new V4 version motors faster then the older V3 type motors and what's the maximum motor timing of the V4 type motors?
Altough i'm very pleased about my V3 type motors i'm thinking about buying a V4 17.5T.

I used mine on a Slash 4x4 conversion to ON ROAD and run on a 275' foot long 1/8th open on road track.....running 2 cells with 5700kv blaze motor....and yes, I run STOCK1 (Turbo and boost) both on big time.........car is a ROCKET.
Now...if you are running it on off road 4x4 SCT type...4400kv might be better. Also, probably not the best to use stock1 (turbo / boost)....Mod 2 is probably the best as it has better BRAKE setting then Mod 1....Mod 1 is more for indoor carpet off road Euro style.
Mod 0 has the most stable average feeling on throttle and punch/brake.

No way.....our motor is the standard 540 size and use 3mm screws like all other brushless motor used.

I am thinking about moving to Speed Passion and have a few questions about the Revention Pro 1.1...
What is the latest firmware for the 1.1?
Where can I find a manual that explains the hybrid settings?
Thanks

I have a speed passion Motor V3 21.5 and it's a slug, in 21.5 Blinky I am dropping a good second a lap. I have the endbell timing all the way up (std black sensor board) and it says 10 degrees on the can, Motor checker says it's sitting around the 35 degree mark, if I get a 40 degree sensor board does that take me to 75 total?

When you set the maximum of this sensor unit (30°) the KV should improve with 40-45%.
I'm running a 17.5T with this sensor unit and i'm about 1second per lap faster then guys who are using a trackstar 17.5T with full motor timing and same FDR.
Hope this helps

Okay guys i'm having a Speed Passion issue with both my touring sedans.
17.5 Orion vst2 pro on a SP Reventon Pro
21.5 Novak Ballistic on a SP Reventon Pro 1.1
Both have Peak 90c 5000mah lipo batteries
my problem is identical on both sedans
when at dead stop and punch throttle of take off really slow both speedo's cog/stutter pretty bad.
I just put new sensor wires on both cars with no change at all.
Any suggestions ?

It sounds like you're getting voltage sag when you punch it. First thing I would do is try some other batteries.
Are those batteries old? If so, they could be on their way out.
