I went to device manager to see if the LCD was hooked up...it was, but I right clicked on the Silicon labs 210xxxxx > click properties...there was a setting that needed adjusted that prevented the laptop to work with the driver or something to that matter.

I just looked at what I wrote and thought ...Duh"!
Before anyone says "just lower the boost and DRRS",I like to only change one thing at a time ie.motor turns.
Still experimenting,playing,but luckily not breaking!
I hope you worked it all out Nolan.P

Ok.
That's your driver not reading the software.
Re-install the driver.
Double check the video,and instructions.
I know this is very arduous, but it's well worth the effort.
Hang in there!!!

The link wasn't working for me for the video.

I will re-install the drive again.

None of the above. I have tried to re-install. I have read the instructions quite a few times. I can get the box to update the firmware I just can't get the esc to communicate.

Make sure the leads are hooked up correctly. I ditched the all black for the traditional black/red/white. If reversed it won't work..

Still neither Reventon ESCs in Germany nor information on the new motors. I guess I'll stick to Thunder Power and GM in this case...
