Is there a way to get a hold of some power posts for the phase wires to speedo? I got the revention in today and just now noticed the "S" does not have them.

hey guys im thinking of getting the gt 2.0 pro carbon black and purple grand turismo speed control now theres the regular size one and the low profile one.....are they the exact same speed control only one is low profile and 30 bucks cheaper?

If I remember right the low profile one will only handle down to a 5.5.

PRO has no motor limit and it is 2X the powers of the LPF....we won't sell the exact same item with 2 different prices for no reason....PRO is the way to go if you are running MOD with BOOST.

Well thats the thing i might just use it for 17.5 boost class

LPF and GT2.1 ProStock will work on that too....but if you want to go for the 1 ESC fits all...go for the PRO.

Mitch- all the marketing pictures show the "s" model as not having any solder posts. You can just solder the wires to the board as if you were changing wires on another brand.

When will the Revention S be available? How much? VTA legal?

Hello, I just noticed this morning the 428 driver update, so I downloaded it thinking newer is better. I am just catching up on this thread, and I noticed that the software is intended for boost. I am running my GT2.0 in a TC6 17.5 blinky car. I am anticipating running at the On Road Paved Nationals. Do I need to reload the older software?

Also, would there be any advantage for me to upgrade to the New Option High Power Capacitor Part No.# EXT98802-C01.?

The S is not VTA legal nor do I think it will ever be (has timing profiles). There is a Reventon Stock Club Race that is already approved by VTA. I am not sure when it will be available as it was supposed to be the 3rd week of June and I have not heard any updates since.

Yes and no, yes being you can program the software that came with the esc (Being 205_mod, if IIRC), no being you cannot upgrade the software to the boosted ones.

You have to use the REVENOTN "Stock Club Race" ESC.....not the Reventon "S".

REVENOTN "Stock Club Race" does not support software upgradable/adjustable...but Reventon "S" does.

Stock Club Race should be instock in couple weeks....

well he was running his with a 4 turn motor ......and i want this speedo for 17.5 boost so i cannot run 17.5 boost without buying that seperate box then?

You can leave the 428_Stock software on your computer, but you need to update your ESC to go back to the blinky firmware. The 428 firmware is a boosted firmware and would get you in trouble in blinky. :)
