yes your temps will be higher. MMM uses +10 board,giving you +20deg of timing, so if you back off all motor timing, you are still running 10deg more than with a V3. i ran the timing in the middle and it was getting on the hot side, when i took as much motor timing out as possible, everything cooled down possibly 15deg cooler. the 528 software is now at its limit for our track. just about everything is Maxed out. so only stage forward now is to run 323. but i feel we dont need to here. but not saying this is for everyone.
something to try wiht the 528 for heat, is to take the extra 10 deg ATMS timing out. so try to drop that 10deg. and see what temps are like.

How do you get the SP GT2.1 to work with a 1 cell li-po without turning off the low voltage cut off? Unless I turn it off the motor won't run.

I only bought this esc because it said it runs with 1 Cell li-po, so I assume I am doing something wrong.

what Speedy ? EX ? or LPF ? EX i have used in 12th scale. i used a 2 cell pack first to set it up, and set the cut off to 1 cell. it worked very well, i baught the EX due to its internal step up voltage for a PT and servos.wasnt a need to run a booster pack. not sure about the LPF, but the EX is designed for 12th scale applications.

Had a GT2.0 Pro fail on me last weekend and had to purchase another speedy to continue the race meeting (state titles), hence buying a brand new Prostock. Ran the same settings as the GT2 using 323 software in 13.5 boosted and experienced this problem. A fellow racer also has the same problem with his, only his feels like it goes into sensorless mode, turn it off then back on and it goes good for a couple of laps again. That sounds like a sensor problem. Try changing the sensor wire first, then the motor. I'd also try Pattojnr's suggestion of reflashing the speed and re-calibrating it to your radio.

It's the GT2.1EX version. I cant get it to run the motor unless I turn the low voltage protection completly off (I'm using a thunderpower 5000 Lipo). I'm wondering if it's the battery, if the only thing you need to do is set the low voltage cut off to 3.2V for it to work.

it was over a year ago i set mine up, and i dont have it anymore. 12th scale died out here . but i am sure the only issue i had was actually getting the program box to work, to do this i had to use a 2 cell pack, or a reciever pack on the program box. im am very sorry, but i dont know if i turned the lipo cut off to off, or set it a a lower voltage. the calibration worked fine for the radio ? be also sure that throttle is correct signal, if the calibration doesnt work properly then try set the throttle to reverse on your radio. Thanks.

I though the MMM used the +10 board (from 11-20)? :confused:

No....right now, we have only dynamic timing version of software for the R...the turbo/boost version (stock1) is under testing mode now...hopefully within a month or so and will be out.

No...the 323 software will not work with REVENTON ESC at all, so does the 2 in 1 programing card, it is for the GT version of ESC.

If both running 205 on 7.5-9.5 motor...very little different. If both running 323stock with mod motor...PRO is the way to go especially in extreme condition like in Thiliand (hot track in temperature). And you are really pushing it running 323 with 7.5 motor on LPF.

When the motor lose the boost and went to sensorless mode, 8 out of 10 times is the sensor board went bad....then it could be the sensor wire, and last, it could be the sensor connection on the ESC went bad...but most of the time, it is the motor.

BOOST software just create more and more problem then making any benefit for anything.

S and R are schedule to be in USA for the 1st week of APRIL.....

I really hate this job because this is what I was told from the MFR....but again, that is what I was told, if they decide to take another Chinese New Year Vacation for no reason at all....then I cannot control it.

But I am very confident most of the shop will have the S and R by the 1st/2nd week of APRIL....along with the wifi/bluetooth module that will work well on the ESC.

Reventon STOCK CLUB RACE will be follow...like 3rd week of April after Easter.
