Just updated my speedo software to 101212STOCK and is a little unsecure of how to setup everything, how is motor temp on 1212 compared to 528??
With 528STOCK I ran my SP Ver. 3 17,5 motor and FDR 4.3 on a large indoor carpet track, motor timing was standard (In the middle, 5 degrees I guess). And ofcourse 7.4v LiPo in my 1/10 TC.
With this setup I ran every speedo setting maxed out and the motor was about 85degrees celsius after 5min heat so OK.
Do I have to change motor timing to 10degrees? I would like some advice because if I do this, the FDR should be different also.
With the setup I ran I needed more punch out of corners, but laps were faster with FDR 4.3. The new 101212STOCK software might solve this, with lower SC boost RPM right?

running EVERYTHING maxed out, is NOT the fast way around.

I tested the settings one at a time and the laps got faster and faster and these settings put me in the A-main at our nationals. Speed on the straights were good but just needed a little more punch. But you're right, I think this can get faster, I just don't know what to do to make it faster. I have considered testing the motor timing, but I know that changing this can cause seriously changes to motor temp, so wanted to know if anyone had some experience on FDR and speedo settings when changing the motor timing =)

(3) Checkout this page for other setup...don't know exactly the size of your track but we have setup from 35 x 70 small carpet, to 125 x 275 1/8th on road track...just go thru the setup and try them.

* PS...remember, when using the new 101212STOCK software on 17.5 or 21.5 motor, item #13, option #1 is actually 1800 rpm...please read thru the write up and adjust the setting accordingly.

(1) 10* timing on the SP V3 motor...give it a try, I never used the stock 5*..always max.

Yes, please download this latest one from today and upload to 1.35.
Yes...it is the newer version then 528STOCK and you should try it (101212STOCK). It is not just for ProStock 2.1 it is for the whole GT series ESC. We leave the 528STOCK there because some ppl prefer that version over the new one.

in instructions of this new software, the SpeedPassion recommend that we dont use with motor 10.5T. why?
I use Stock 10.5T motor at a championship on a big asphalt track

Power band was told increased within the software between the 1108 version and the 1212 version (house setting, without adjustment). I would simply try it and find out from your laptime and you can tell me your finding.

If you are confident enough and know what you are doing about the STOCK SC software on any mod motor....go right ahead. The software itself will work with any motor, as long as you know the setting and gearing...motor/esc failure due to the inappropriate setting and usage is not covered by the warranty.
