Glad it helped... your 13.5 looked really fast.. especially for a x11 motor. If you ever need more help with the esc let me know..

Plug arrangement

Hey guys, I just got the GT 2.1 and there is no instruction as to how to plug in the esc to the receiver or to the LCD program card for that matter. Am I missing something? Just need a diagram/pic of how the plugs are arranged. Thanks~

If you go to Hobbywings website www.hobbywing.com and go to the download section, most of the manuals are able to be downloaded from there. AS the Hobbywing is the same as the SP you should have no issue

try #15 at like -6 that will give you less punch if the slipper isnt slipping atleast 2 feet then u might wanna give that a turn to the loose

Canon, the HW ESC is different of course. The receiver link is attached internally.

WHat i can tell you is out of the three, i felt the 2.1 has the most linear feel. WHen i drove a few Tekin's with Cyclones, there was an initial "lag" if lack of a better word, then the Boost of the Tekin would kick in and have gobs of power. The LRP was smoother than the Tekin, and had decent power mid and top. Both ESC's are very good in my opinion. Even though i am biased towards Speedpassion, i have to honestly admit i like my 2.1 much better. The Linear powerband is a must for me. I like feeling the input of the trigger with out the "lag" the Tekin does. I also like the fact that with Medium settings, it is up to par with both Tekin and LRP. I ran Max boost this weekend in RCGT and i do have to say, hands down i love my 2.1. Very powerful and with the new 52* software, we get no lag or no cogging at all.

It really comes down to preference. A lot of local racers here in Cali love the Boosted feel so the lag isn't an issue. For me, it has to be smooth.

What does it mean when my speedie blinks green non stop, but the motor still runs perfectly? I'm running a GT2.0 Pro with a SP v2 4.0t tried different sensor cables, recalibrating still has the green light flashing.

Thanks in advance.

Oh man, I was so happy, now you’ve went and got me drooling again. What’s the story on this 52* soft/firm/whateverware? Is this something you’re working on yet to be released? When will it be available, Stock/Mod, suggested settings, please please share. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys,

Tried the 422 software for the first time last week. Im running a LRP X11 on 4 cells on a track with a long straight.

Currently im running:

9 AMTS: value 5 (15 deg)
12 SC boost: 2
13 SC RPM delay: 1 (4000rpm)
14 SC throttle delay: 1
15 SC punch: 2

Im running 75mm rollout and the car is very fast on mid and high rpm's, but lacks a little bit in the bottom end. Gearing shorter doesn't do the trick, it actually looks like the punch decreases.

Any suggestions?

Bump

So what’s the problem? ;) Yep, I’m an offroad lurker here too, Mr. Crum is right of course, try backing off/higher option # on setting 15. Helps reduce motor heat too. My problem with it too jacked up is big nose lift on jumps. Fun problems to have, I'm starting to get the hang of it.

If I may ask, what motor, and what gearing are you using? I’ve tried everything from 6.8 to 8.0 FDR with a Novak 13.5 in a truck. But I’m too busy trying to hang on and laughing to really get a feel for what’s best.

Most likely it will be released with in the week. It will be STOCK and MOD version of this software. It is very successful on the track where Reinhard and other drivers are loving totally loving it, including me.
