What program did you put in?

230 has more power than 231.

Talk to your mate cherry2blost he had better results with the #4 DRRS start mode turned up higher.

Well they are super flexible and something like double or triple the strand count of normal wire, about as dialed as wire can get

so is the answer to the question yes i need to buy other wire , or just use the 14awg that comes with the ESC as it doesnt make a noticeable difference ?

i always just figure the guys that made the esc know what they are doing when they chose what wire to include with the esc. its way easier that way

Well guys i just tested the new 318 and with the default settings was able to get within a tenth or two of the best i could get with 231 and the track conditions were no where near what i tested 231 with, I had Tq in 13.5 just ahead of skitee(photon, tekin) and 2 other tekin powered cars, and 2nd in 10.5 just behind skitee, our local track is 167m long and about a 40m straight and it definatly has more midrange punch than 230 and 231 the guys are definatly moving in the right direction! Will post my settings for 318 a little later!

Hi all if nobody minds me ######## this thread I will give some of my findings.....

With 10.5, setting 15 SC punch just doesn't seem to have much of an effect to the infield (off turbo) punch, seems to be affecting the actual Turbo more than anything? Have found a world of difference by using the DRRS setting I stepped it to 8 and wow the car was transformed on the infield and more is the point NO extra heat.

Still temping at 128 Degrees F so bloody quick it's got me grinning but it is truly too quick now for me lol having to learn a lot of throttle control.

On a slightly different note my buddy John in Shen Zhen (never sure if the Chinese just make these names up or not) has sent me an update, is there a difference between 318 and 324? Any caveats or downsides to 324 as I see slidemaster has tried 318 but not 324 any reason NOT to try the 324 or is it good to go, remember am looking at 10.5 here.
