If you mean that the 2.0 lfp cannot run brushed motors that is not an issue as noone is running brushed motors anymore.
Also, you can run the new stock software on the 2.0 lfp which will give you what you want/need...more speed compared to the 1.1...

I have 3 Version GTV1.1 for sale....I think they are ALOT better then GT2.0 (I am saying that so you would buy all my old dusted V1.1 speedo from me....).

GTV1.1 is not even close to GT2 by any standard.....

Would it be worth me buying the new GT2.1 Prostock speed control over the slightly older GT2.0 Pro Brushless ESC.

For touring car btw

I noticed Marc running the older 2.0 at the ETS.. was this just his prefered choise or not yet recieved the 2.1?

Cheers
GT2.1 stock spec is for STOCK motor racing (mostly used for 10.5T and slower)....Marc R is running MOD, he has to use the GT2.0 PRO in order for him to use the mod motor.

As far as a WC like Marc does...there is no way he did not receive the 2.1 on time for the race...infact, he might be testing the SP GT V6.53 already....

Pedro, non of us has tested the 2.1 yet. we are waiting for it to get into our hands so we can not compare it to an LRP. However, The GT and LPF 2.0's will have the same performance for stock as the 2.1.

12th 1s, yes it is, for 17.5 you will have to get the "312"program, for 13.5 I run both the 312 and 323 programs. If you are running mod, 323 or 205. I think you are the 5th person in the world to use these speedos in 12th

hint: use a rec. pack (your choice).

once again i am not saying just brushed motor.

now you are comparing it incorrectly, i know 2.0 is better
but if replacing SP GT 1.1 PRO with SP GT 2.0 LPF now that's big difference,
i will show you why then,
there is 2 SP GT 1.1 LPF and SP GT 1.1 PRO
there is 2 SP GT 2.0 LPF and SP GT 2.0 PRO

compare
SP GT 1.1 Pro is 120A to 720A
SP GT 2.0 LPF is 80A to 440A

That's what meant downgrade.

irgo, based on the numbers yes it is downgrade. BUT... when you are racing a spec motor, that numbers is not important.
GT 2.0 LPF at 80 to 440A is adequate enough for stock spec motor.
and the new algorithm in the version 2.0 is the important thing that affects the speed.

BTW, what do you race? onroad/offroad? stock or modified class?

Well I got one in trade and decided to put it into my touring car for 17.5. But I was thinking about using one for 12th scale, but I ended up ordering a Havok 1s.

In stock there is no comparison but in mod there is not much of a difference and the V1.1 is still a super smooth mod esc.
