So way less consumables on the car compared to previous models.
what is required to drop into the original Mi4? budget racer here, less wear is good in my book!

Well I guess new driveshafts, diff outputs and new sleeves. Diff internals should be the same.

For the front end you would need spool body, plastic inserts, alloy sleeves and of course the driveshaft.

For the rear you would need outdrives, plastic inserts, alloy sleeves and driveshafts.

As Chris said though, wear has been minimal on them. Mine have done maybe only 50-60 packs, and no issues.

Thanks mate.

Anyway - had to rework it, as first version was done entirely in Photoshop and that would take ages to make whole manual in it and make it consistent.
Second version has now one extra page and it was done in OpenOffice combined with Photoshop. It will take me a while to finish it all as I'm doing it in my free time. So I hope you'll be patient with me.

Link posted sooner contains new version.

Thumbs up

Pavel,

I think your efforts will assist many who don't fully understand car setup. The inclusion of pictures and what the changes will do will make it worthwhile to all, especially me, who hasn't run a TC for a while.

Excellent idea and I look forward to the finished/evolving setup book.

Regards,

Calvin.

Litemodz spool, or regular?

I ran the ones for the regular spool, didn't hit anything hard enough to break anything, and both of them blew out in the first session. One completely lost drive, the other was just torn up and missing a ball or two.

Based on when I ordered, I should have had the V2, but I don't know for sure that I did. I haven't gotten around to taking picks and contacting Litemodz about it yet.

Well, I'm slowly getting there. I've added some more pics. Also all texts that were provided are included now. My comments (especially droop part which will be also extended) will be added with pics and rest.

If anyone spots anything that needs to be corrected let me know. I can't insure that there aren't any mistakes as I'm not English native speaker so also check would be really welcomed.

DIFF HEIGHT
HIGH car will stay flatter and have more responsive feel.
LOW car will roll more and keep car in turn longer, increasing on-power steering
Low front diff/high rear maximum total steering
High front diff/low rear lowest total steering
Low front/low rear less overall traction
High front/high rear more overall traction

Something here doesn't read right to me?
