The blue much more oring for shock is the darker blue one? I believe it's the 30 degree? I saw that the offer a lighter blue and a darker blue and just wanted to be sure I ordered the right one. Thanks!

Hi Jilles,

Great job on the ETS... was looking at some stats today... TRF are pretty much dominating that series. 19 out of a possible 27 podium spots in two year, pretty awesome

Good to see us over in teh UK weren't the only ones racing in the wet this weekend... have to say that the I find the car really works well in the damp, all I've been doing is upping the ride height and bolting on the wets!

Guess it'll be busy for you guys now, 200mm Euros then TC Euros. Good luck in both

Cheers
Ed

Hiya - Its always mid to late Feb, but i have not seen any details yet. The Wifey wanted to go home to BKK for Christmas but i have talked her into delaying it until Feb

The organisers tend to re use this web address, but it still has the 09 info on it http://www.titc.in.th/

Hi Jilles,
Got a question on this comment from you.....

"Most of the time I use the old 416 chassis, sometimes the WE chassis. WE is easier to drive but less steering then the old chassis. In general 90% we use the old 2.25 chassis."

I thought for the WE chassis, the battery position sits more to the front and should be more steering compared to the old chassis...at least i think that most tamiya guys around here is marketing the 416WE that way...

I'm also interested to know which M/M Blue O-ring Jilles is using in the Video. According to MuchMore's website they have two different blue O-rings.

Sky Blue, 30deg. (MK-R01)
Marine Blue, 50deg. (MK-R03)

Jilles,
Thanks for the Awesome Shock Building Video and Congrats jilles on your recent Great Victory!

Hello Jilles,

I just purchased the 2.5mm chassis with the two piece upper deck to add to my tuning options for my 416WE. Although, before I install my parts over to my 2.5mm chassis, I wanted to know if you always glue the entire edge of your chassis whenever you build your cars? Futhermore, have you found any difference in the handling of your car from gluing and not gluing the chassis's edge?

Thank You,
Chris Chavez

Jilles,

I've noticed in a few pictures of cars, Marc and Hupo sometimes run ends on their sway bars that are the grey color, like the fluorine coated pieces rather than the blue aluminum. Here's a picture of Hupo's car for reference. I'm sure that part won't make me any faster, I was just curious, I always look at car pictures to see what new parts are coming.

Jilles,

Congratulations on the ETS win! Also, your shock building video is great. Thanks for that.

Regarding shock building, when you check to see how much the shock rebounds after you build it, how close do you usually want the rebound to be in comparison to the other shocks? Secondly, do you often use an o-ring on top of the bladder?

Jilles, were you using the new SP motor during the ETS race? Do you have any pics of it? Whats the difference between the new and the competition 2 motors? When can we expect it to be out? BTW what turn of motor you were using during the last ETS?

Thanks

Jilles,

Congrats on your recent victories!

I have a basic tire warmer question:

If the track temp is "X" degrees what do you set your warmers for? Same as? More than? to allow for cool down from warmers to track?

Thank you for your time.
