ok EVERYONE

I just picked up one of these cars off a buddy. Im looking to run on Carpet in the 17.5 boosted class. the esc im gunna be running at the moment is the Tekin RS Pro.
I just have some questions to ask

1) Im going to be running 2 gear diffs
What should I use as Diff fluid I only run the Ofna Diff Fluid?

2) What often breaks on this car so I can buy some spar parts?

3) What are some sites that are stock and after market parts I can get for this kit?

4) Where can I find some nice set up sheets for this car to run on carpet?

Thanks guys for you help. Looking forward to some info

I used to run a Top Photon in southern Ontario for a couple season. Check out Muchhobby.com for your Photon parts they are local in Richmond Hill.. They also have a pretty decent Online shop and great slection of parts..
As for parts I only broke two front arms. Then I switched to a heavy duty param bumper. The stock bumper is a leak weak.

Thats my 2 cens...

Virtually everything you need is in Hanulec's signature

Bunch of setups at the bottom. A lot of good tips on that page.

Locally, I think only Lou's and muchhobby.com stock TOP parts. Much doesn't have much lately though.

I broke a couple of castor blocks and front A-arms and a couple of the plastic bellcranks before switching them to all aluminum(team tamale + kingzhead). Pick up a Parma hard bumper, or get one of the ones like Steve had on his new kit.

If you are having trouble finding a part, give me a call man. Odds are pretty good that I have whatever you might be looking for.

Anyone know what's up with the TOP racing USA distributor. They aren't answering any e-mails and the phone won't take anymore messages? Are they on Vacation?

Hey guys, I had a question about the exotek chassis, I was thinking about getting one but wanted to find out if i needed a different bellcrank to run east/west servo setup. From the pics on the website it looks like it does, I could very well be wrong. Thanks!

I just spoke with Michael "OD" - he was out part of the day. Make sure to leave a phone message if you call and no one picks up.

Here is there right now

Id only recommend trying east west once you've run the car / chassis north south.

I've never done east west -- all the pics look like it uses a modified version of the normal bellcrank. Find a picture .. and maybe a dremel..

You just have to cut the arm off of the plastic crank...
But as Hanulec says, better to try it first. I didn't, but have since switched to the stock set-up (N/S) and the steering feels way more locked-in

I've run the exotek chassis in N/S and E/W layouts and the N/S just gives a much better feel making the car much more consistent to drive, E/W had a strange feel like it was steering at a different rate from center to full throw compared to N/S.
