SPARE PARTS
I am breaking up my old xray 008, and wanted to know if the 008 driveshafts, or indeed any parts can fit my photon. I particularly like the xray driveshafts, and if they are compatible I can save some cash on spare driveshafts

the setup i'm using is based upon the 38 tooth xray pulleys. these pulleys were included with certain T2'008 EU models -- but not all of them. When these larger pulleys were used within the T2'008 you had a 2.375 internal gear ratio. i don't think the 'stock' EU drive shafts were 50mm though. Xray billed the 50mm shafts as 'foam' touring parts, and 52mm shafts as the 'rubber' parts.

Running the diffs flipped on the new lipo chassis. Anyone notice the rear diff loosing up. Mine seems to be getting loose.

The grub screw for the stabilizer bar ( in between the two flat screw ),how tight should it be? Will it make the car out of control if it's too tight?

That is correct, the sway bars must pivot freely. Unfortunately the Photon is not mistake-proof, and at least half of the cars we check have that set screw tight on the sway bar. That really screws up the cars handling
