so is this right , all you need is ..
part no . 3r-sak-07 and the 3r-sak-vo5
and just the different size bearings and the original centre shaft ..
to be honest theres nothing wrong with mine ( both photons ) but its a nice cheap bit of bling !! and it serves a purpose too ..

Are those new front harder UJs? I am searching for something stronger than photon's alum UJ but not the steel ones. Haha. Any good 3rd party recommendations?

Because if you are really that concerned about rotating mass, they make no discernible difference. But they are very reliable and inexpensive.

Ok sure, will try them. Anyways, have any of you guys tried fitting Spec-R C.V. Universal Swing Shaft on your TOPs? Any of those fits?

As I'm sure you already know there is 0.5mm difference between each insert position.
I can't tell you what the equivalent setting on a TCX is. For comparison, on a TOP Scythe, 0mm under the blocks gives a 7.5mm pin centre.
By the way, the lower arms on the Photon are the same length as the TCX (and Pro4 and Cyclone), the front c-hubs have the same geometry (although the knuckles have 1mm wider offset), and the rear hubs are the same height if you add a 2mm spacer, although they upper link position is 1mm outboard. (by my measurements )

Almost all modern TC's are very close to Yokomo's MR4 TC SP design dimensions. The Tc3 was almost indentical to the MR4 TC (i know, i owned both). Ideally they are all clones, with exception to the last Losi offering.
