JimmyMac: thanks for the link. as for the shocks, personally i run the black bladder and single o-ring set up on mine as well minus the foam insert. i find this smoothens out the car as it is less twitchy - but twitchy isnt always a bad thing so really depends what you are looking for. in modified i prefer the car to be smoother so it's easier to drive. this is actually somthing ive been playing around with my other cars in the past and is generally what i've observed. i suppose its because maybe having the inserts in speeds up the rebound.... my assumption is it affects rebound speed rather than the amount of rebound (which you control through bleeding). but then what do i know haha ... let me know what you experience from your end.

Anyone here tried the TiR spool??
Mine doesnt seem to fit
The pin on the drive shaft is longer than the diameter of the sleeve. If i take off the sleeve you can just put the driveshafts into the derlin outdrive, but theres no way at all the sleeve is going to slide on. Just using the sleeve and a drive shaft in my hands you cant even get it on at obscure angels, its not that its a tight fit... its just impossible to get it passed the pin.

Use Tamiya 46mm bones.

Thanks for the advise jimmy, but that’s not going to be acceptable for me. I’ll wait to see what TiR have to say otherwise they can have it back.

Did you get the BD spool or BD5 spool? Send it my way, I'll gladly take them.

Uhhhh, what you say???!! Haha. The complete 416 axle and bone will fit in a BD5. Or.... You can interchange parts. Bones, axles, or pin/joint set is all interchangable. Why you would want to, I don't know. But for future reference, it all fits. However, I have not tried a Yokomo wheel hex on a Tamiya axle. But the complete 416 axle set and Tamiya wheel hex fits in the Yokomo BD5 steering block.

Okay, I have about 16 to 18 runs on my new aluminum rear diff. And I would like to thank Martin again for suggesting that I use MuchMore Joint Grease. So far they have been wearing pretty good. They have not notched yet. Only the anodizing has worn off in the slots. This diff has been run on a flowing euro/asian style track in 17.5, and one carpet track with rubber tires. I have not run it in a technical parking lot. I'm scared to do so. But I'll give it a shot one day. Here are some pics since yall love pics. So far so good.
