Osherman: I didn't know I needed to glue the diff rings.
I thought it was odd that the rings weren't keyed at all, but I didn't think about gluing them. I just tightened them and reassembled the suspension. I will see how it runs with my old ParadoxPro before I bother with the diffs again.
zombies: your making me jealous man. Adjustable motor mount, universals.....sounds too good to resist. Is there a website where I can check out these hop ups?

Darkseid--> It doesn't say in the manual, that i remember, about glueing, but this is just a little trick from past experience in sedan racing...Should apply not only to sedans, but any ball diff in general with non-keyed, diff-rings. I didn't glue my rings either, but since you mention that after all the tightening your's still slips that woould be my first step to finding the actual problem...

Osherman: its something I never had to do. The diff rings were always either keyed or had some other method to hold them in place.
The next time I take the car apart, I'll snatch the diffs out and glue them up.

F201 option parts sell out very quickly at Rainbowten. If you email them... they might be able to reserve the parts you want when they arrive. Because of the time difference best time to do a search is around midnight pacific time. that's when I found out the motor mount was available and the following night is was all sold out. I was lucky to get one. Good luck.

1. Oil film on diff rings, outdrivers, screws, balls etc...clean everything with cleaner first!
2. Thrust bearing springs need to be seated (I remember this from the TC3 or MR4...) Fully compress springs 3-4 times.....both mine shorten in length by almost 1mm!!!
and then stopped (of course!! )3. I prefer thread lock on the diff plates/outdrivers compared to glue.....a little less permenant...but either will do!
4. Don't forget the grease on the head end of the screw (I did at first) it does make a slight difference!
5. Good tip from Psycho on using threadlock for both screws in the diff!
Just my 2 cents!
I still can't get the diffs as smooth as those on my Xray.......but they will do!!
