But i'm satisfied with spx + 9.5t stock spec setup.
Otherwise with modified i will be charging more instead of driving.

Yes i know, im just wondering why people choose the "pro" versions when they aren't running anything hotter than a 10.5

Ok , i wasn't knocking you, i just notice alot of people using pro versions, when they only run 17.5 and have no interest to run mod, so i wondered why people use the pro over the normal

Huh. Thanks for the link!

I want one! Are they going to make it like the TC spec version with the attached heatsink, or normal with out the heat sink? I hope they do it with out the heatsink

If they keep the color of the existing X12 motors, I can abide by that. It's fairly neutral, at least compared to the other ugly motors out there.

I'd really like to see what the SXX is capable over the SPX, but I'm starting to think I'm over the idea of buying new hardware to get new software. Other companies are blazing a trail here that LRP needs to be very mindful of.

How does it compare on the track to, say, the DUO motors?

In europe DUO's aren't used much, so hard to say. I belive that you'll have to wait until it will be distributed in USA and someone will do side by side track tests.

Default 1 cell Lipo

Has any one had any problems using the lipos with this SC. I am thinking about going to lipo because I do not have the time to maintain the 4600s. Do I have to gear any different?

A new X-12 Stock Spec will be nice. It's really easy to adjust the timing on the current X-12 modifieds and using the preci-timing for stock will be awesome. No more guess work.

As the info has "leaked" now...

X12 StockSpec's are going to be available shortly in 10.5, 13.5, 17.5 and 21.5t winds. We have the first batch of motors in our warehouse now but wait until we have a decent quantity before we ship them to shops and distributors.
Obviously these new motors will be ROAR, EFRA, BRCA etc legal as well.

SXX StockSpec has many unique features which you guys will like a lot, our targeted release date for the speed-control is December but I'm not 100% confident if we can keep that as current situation with component buying (long leadtimes) is horrible...

Except good things to come from LRP for stock brushless racers...
