Body and wheels
Great forum for TA03 fans. I have a question. What bodies are you guys running? Hpi or Protoform? Also what offset on your wheels are you guys using? I am running a TA03F Pro. Thanks in advance.

Any radio that feels good to your hand is a good radio.
I have a Futaba 3PDF and I can't complain anything about it. it's light and it got every function that I'm looking for. So It's a good radio for me.
A lot of people are going for Airtronics M8 cuz it's a great radio too. It really depends on your own prefrence.
I have weird prefrence when comes to RC. I go for everything Japanese. ESC: Keyence. Radio: Futaba, Car: Tamiya, Servo: Futaba..... Even though they are not all made in Japan. But for some reason I just go for Japanese product most of time....

r32: thanks; will try lowering the ride height. btw, from where do you measure ride height? is it from the chassis or the suspension arm? or whichever part is nearer the ground?
zxt: stock pinion of the regular (not pro) ta03f is 14 teeth

14 teeth?
Damn...I got my TA-03F used and there's this 17 tooth pinion there...I changed it to 19 to pick up more top end speed...so changing it from 14 to 19...will u consider that as an over gearing? Is this bad for my motor? Anyways I still use the stock Jonhson that came with it...
Now if anyone can only answer my Radio ?'s...
Thanks

03F pinions
zxt: it's ok if you change it to 19t... i use to run my johnson stock with 21t pinion...it runs ok...eric of ritchie ritz recommends 25t for maximum top end but i settled for the 21t for more runtime...now with the tamiya superstocks i'm using 22t (0.6) pinion.

zxt: secret....hehehe
what do you mean compression ratio? gear ratio maybe?
if gear ratio then, spur/pinion x diff gear/countershaft gear.
