My new Reedy car is sorta done. I pulled the TNX out of the box straight from last year's race to prepare it for next week's Proline Challenge and guess what? It's RTR and not too dirty! whew!

Spent like half an hour in the Kyosho booth last week driving Mini-Z's (until they booted us) but thanks for the track time Kyosho hehe...that's about the most I've driven in a month. The Reedy Race is going to be a blast.

It's rainy season here in Thailand and I was bored. I thought I'd play around with my MSX with spare parts that I have laying around.

Seems like some takes things to seriously here(not you). I'm just having fun.

Chiil out dude. Just having some fun while it's rainy season here. Yes it looks weird but don't get all bent about it. And I didn't say anything about being better than the stock one.

It's surpose to be a fun hobby. If we don't try new things, how are we going to evolve.

Look at these two pictures for example. I used the F201 steering on my 415. This set up worked out great!

It's all TT01 steering. Just some parts laying around when I had a TT01, haha. Just thought I try out new things. I did shorten the swing arms a bit so that it dosen't hit the servo.

I had three 415's so I had a bunch of spares...along with other spares from TA01, TA02, FF01, M01, M03, TT01, TB02, TBEVO3(grey and blue editions), TBEVO3 Surikarn Edition, Three 414M's, Bruiser, Mountaineer, Super Champ, Grasshopper, and the list goes on! Anyway, if I do something else, I'll post it again

Default Servo help!!

So I recently got a smokin' deal on a MS and have it handling well. The only issue is my old servo ( Hitec HS-322HD ) is slow in response and even with the EPA on my JR SX3 maxed out at 125% and the standard Tamiya servo saver I do not get full lock on the car. Anyone have recommendations on a good fast servo with lots of steering travel that is not crazy expensive? Thanks for the help!!

Futaba S9405 It's not expensive, Nit the fastest, has metal gears and it's smooth. I used it on my HB Cyclone. I guess you can't see it to well in the picture, hahaha. Oh well.

Might as well get the Futaba 9550 its smaller profile and has good speed and torque and only costs around $75.
But, as a rule of thumb for me, if your using JR controller and reciever then you should get a JR servo. The three will work good together, so less chance of glitching! When you start mixing brands from controller to servo to reciever, there is a greater chance of the electronics not working well together.
JR makes decent servos at a reasonable price. Decent speed and torque and only around $50.I'm not advertising for JR, I just thought you might want to know FYI.
Just my2$
