Chiil out dude. Just having some fun while it's rainy season here. Yes it looks weird but don't get all bent about it. And I didn't say anything about being better than the stock one.
It's surpose to be a fun hobby. If we don't try new things, how are we going to evolve.

Look at these two pictures for example. I used the F201 steering on my 415. This set up worked out great!

And yet, another steering set up on my TRFMSX. I tried this one on th etrac and it works really good. Quicker response.

is that last steering setup the aluminium steering set + aluminium steering joint for the TT-01?

JoeyE keep the pics coming. Its great to see some imaginative thinking If only i had a spare 415 chassis plate i didnt mind drilling into!

It's all TT01 steering. Just some parts laying around when I had a TT01, haha. Just thought I try out new things. I did shorten the swing arms a bit so that it dosen't hit the servo.

Servo help!!
So I recently got a smokin' deal on a MS and have it handling well. The only issue is my old servo ( Hitec HS-322HD ) is slow in response and even with the EPA on my JR SX3 maxed out at 125% and the standard Tamiya servo saver I do not get full lock on the car. Anyone have recommendations on a good fast servo with lots of steering travel that is not crazy expensive? Thanks for the help!!

Futaba S9405 It's not expensive, Nit the fastest, has metal gears and it's smooth. I used it on my HB Cyclone. I guess you can't see it to well in the picture, hahaha. Oh well.

But, as a rule of thumb for me, if your using JR controller and reciever then you should get a JR servo.The three will work good together, so less chance of glitching! When you start mixing brands from controller to servo to reciever, there is a greater chance of the electronics not working well together.
JR makes decent servos at a reasonable price. Decent speed and torque and only around $50.I'm not advertising for JR, I just thought you might want to know FYI.
