Thats pretty long for an indoor
6.3 sounds ok. Other thing to mention is what motor type is it? C2, Atlas, Reedy, V2?

I have seen Marc use all kinds of bodies. Protoform Mazda 6, Stratus, Stratus 3.0, B4...........on asphalt the Mazda 6 seems to be his favourite but he has used others.....

ZS-501 outdrives
ZS-507 diff thrust bearing set
ZS-508 diff adjusting kit.

You can use the regular Tamiya ball diff plates or Yokomo's (ZS-506). They are the same.

You then need to use the Tamiya ball diff pulley, the two bearings that go inside the diff, and your diff balls.

Did he snap the post itself or the actual bumper mount? Both parts come together in a replacement plastic tree, usually known as the 414MII Bumper kit.

It's a V2 19T motor from Team Orion.

I was using 6.4 before and it was slow. I will try 6.3 when I go to the track this week.

BTW, do you guys know which is the best 19T in terms of performance and durability? I find that the V2 19T does not have good top end.

You might want to get the TA04 Front Aluminum Body Post 65mm #53617. It's a direct fit into the TRF415MSX.

C2 good mid range can be tuned for bottom end or high speed,
Atlas based 19 turns tend to be be very high revving and racers have been know to say they need gearing low to get the to perform,
Reedy quad good motor but some say difficult to gear due to it lack of cogging.

My advice is ask around and see if they know how to get more power out of the v2
Or find out what the local hot shoe uses.

Nah, they break the bumpers too easily.

Agreed...And plastic is lighter...Also cheaper. Buy the replacement 414M2 bumper set and they give you lots of stuff in the same tree that you can keep for spare too.

V2 needs gearing silly low, and they don't work out of box, need much harder springs to work. I'd jump a few teeth on the pinion and go for 6 right now, then work your way till you find the proper gearing, it's not like you're gonna burn it anyway it's a V2.
