Just an fyi for people
I raced this last weekend and I was breaking the Hpi steering knuckles right and left ( literally) but the funny thing is that I wasen't hitting anything. Has anyone else have this problem?
But anyway since I was out of money and out HPI knuckles I thought I would try the standard supension caster blocks and knuckles. Well to my surprise they fit very well but had slop due to the fact that the lightweight hingepin for the caster block is slightly smaller. So I took out the trusty dremel and drilled out the supension arm holes to 3mm. Put the bigger pins no slop good fit and top of that the car drove better and felt better. So Just for poeple that want to try this other than going through the hole mess of using inferior HPI parts on a superior Tamiya car that something that can be done.
LMK if others have tried this or anyone else has problems breaking HPI knuckles. I would just like know why they were breaking without hitting anything.

I have been told it was just a 415 old style one, not a MS or a MSX. That is why i believe there are no pics.

If you keep breaking the HPI plastic spindles, then just buy the HPI aluminum ones! If you can't find the HPI ones, then get the Square ones....

The first 5 pics.. all you need to do is to find local workshop with CNC machine.
