190MPH - The MSX really makes the 415 a rocket on road and on carpet. an expensive upgrade but woth every penny for serious racers. If you aren't at the head of the pack you need a better setup and you have to crash as little as possible. Unless you are driving in the stock class where the cheaters hang out.
The light weight suspension is what I am running on the 415 seems to help significantly on asphault and is no disadvantage on carpet from my testing (racing).
If you were driving a TC4 I would know why you were inconsistent and crashing occasionally. If your crashing is car related and not a brainfart I would suggest checking everything for bent or broken parts, check tweak, ride height, diff, loose screws, c hubs the same on both sides (they can be installed back wards), rear toe same on both sides(can get toe out on 415), etc.,
When was the last time you rebuilt shocks? How often do you oil your shocks? I oil my shocks every race day.
I check droop after every run as it changes from run to run. I put my car on a flat surface and loosen top screws and retighten to make sure chassis is not tweeked after every run.
Just some suggestions to help your car be as consisten and fast as possible.

One question on rear toe in.
I´m running the 415 MSX with 3mm chassis and the old suspension. Until now I always was using the std plastic rear hub with 2° toe with B/C blocks so 2.5° rear toe in overall. At the last carpet race with rubber tires we had a very tight infield and I wanted trying what will happen with different rear hubs. I had now the Square hubs 0.5° and changed for X/D blocks as I wanted the same amount of toe in overall and for testing what would happen from going from outboard to inboard toe in. Worked better then before on the infield but after looking at another 415 I realized I had the rear hubs used the wrong way. That means using a negative amount of outboard toe in and 1.5° overall. Curious thing was the car worked better at the tight infield but still had enough rear grip.
I´m not very good with suspension theorethics but I wonder what using that negative outboard toe in will effect. What do you think?

is anyone else having issues with titanium screws backing out on the MSX??
It was not like this with the standard 415...i tightened all the screws before the race, then halfway through the rear shock tower falls off as all the crews have come out!!
Should I use locktite? I know this is strongly advised against by some people, but i dont see any other options.

Does anyone know what part number the "Short flanged tube" (King-pin flanged tube) has? I cant find the number using the manual, the number BS3 is just skipped in the part number listings...

Never had a problem with ti-screws in aluminum. Just use some blue loc-tite very sparingly.

Try posting on their thread on RCTech. They are there for sure. There was a bigger then usual delay with my last order, but that was because of a holiday on Monday. I know that the TCS Worlds is on this weekend, so I'm not sure if that effects them at all. Best to try their thread on here. They are part of the Retail Forums.
