Hey guys check my for sale post.
Question on your sale post. You mention using EVO IV upper king pin cut down 2mm. Is this to fit foam tires on the car? If so, can you share exactly what you did. I've modified my front C-hub set up several different ways and was unhappy with all of them. Maybe your method is the ticket.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi all
I'm going to be getting a new car soon, and have narrowed it down to the 415MS or the new Losi (I don't want opinions on which to get!)
I mainly race on carpet with foams and outdoor ashphalt here in the UK. I know the car is very well spec'd as std but what additional parts would you reccommend I got? Also, do the current Losi springs fit the 415 shocks? I know lots of people are using the AE springs, i just have lots of Losi springs from the xxxs i run at the moment.
What breaks most often - here in the UK it seems its quite difficult to get hold of tamiya parts, so I want to get some spares before I break them (hopefully this will change now Spash is racing Tamiya)
Also, could someone please post the list of parts required to make up the front diff - and also to make up a spool (sorry I looked back through the other pages but couldnt find it, just tell me what page its on will be great)
Thanks for any help

I think the MS is not the perfect car for carpet. The stock 415 is much better there. On asphalt it seems the other way.
From what I know the XXXS springs wonīt fit on any other car. They are just too big in diameter. You canīt use them with the Tamiya but from what I have heard here even the new Losi needs completely different springs.
AE and Xray springs are working with the 415.
Regarding spare parts the stock 415 usually needs no spares. The MS tend to break suspension plastic parts and the small 580 wheel bearings.

Quite many things you have to learn with a new car

World's Setup
So did Tamiya ever make Rheinard's setup from the Worlds Available? Or did anyone ever peice together a setup sheet from information gathered?

I think a lot of people want this setup but maybe nobody has it. Even if you look at the pictures there are so much details left which you canīt see there. But these will effect handling as well.

Wasabi Steve! I don't have it. I believe that Marc had a pit benifactor from Japan who did all the setup work.

Yeah, I know he didn't really work on his car there
I just figured by now some information might have trickled down...
I need to start my reedy race testing and figured I might as well have a decent starting setup

*edit* seriously...because I don't have the LW suspension on the car.

TBH though, the stock setup is pretty awsome, there are some setup sheets around, including on my site.
