Coming down again this week?
I've got the spool in this time out, mainly to make the car a bit easier to drive. Hopefully I'll also be in a slightly nicer heat (and not one where back markers pretty much dleiberatly ram you off the track...)

Just finished reading page 126, about the block spacers. those prototypes on DK team looked awsome. they even have a lip to lock the block somewhat in place.
Can't remember who said it but, I read that the Pro4 susp. block shims will work. However, I don't know what they look like. If anyone has a quick pic could you post it, otherwise, I will go get one somewhere else and then post it.
Also, does anyone have pics of the Squat shims?

It seems to me, to give the car more on power steering, not sure if that's caus eof the inboard toe, reduced wheelbase or the narrower front end... but I'm sure some-one on here can help with that.
On a side note, after the talk about bending suspension blocks, had a look at mine today whilst cleaning the car (again... It's a disease I have, I can't have my 415 looking dirty.... ) and I've noticed that my rear B block has a bit on a bend on it guess it must have bent on a heavy hit at some point.. I did wonder why the car seems to pull right under v.hard acceleration, I checked tweak, shock lengths droop, etc, and it still did it, I wonder if this may be the cause... ahh well.
Guess I'll have to a have a look into getting some Alu spacers made up instead, hopefully avoiding this problem.
Regards
Ed

It doesn't take much of a hit to bend them. I know from personal experience

is the spacer sunk into the block (machined?) or is it just a lip to help keep it in place?

It is a lip.

one other thing you guys can try is the EVO4 sus blocks..if you are putting more than a 1mm spacer under them.. I have gone this route and have yet to have any problems
