this any help to you? (It is in the uk though...)

http://demonpowerproducts.co.uk/adva...97207529bcc9d8

this is only my opinion......Ive not used any of them, but heard good things about the JAAD spool. TIR I have heard more complaints about their products, but dont read too much into that.

JAAD have a website afaik if you google it, as do TIR, but they probably wont sell direct to racers, probably distributers only...

hth

(ps. you'll need a centre locked layshaft too if you dont already have one, as a spool and middle one way probably wont feel too good!)

I know precision RC carries jaad products. so you can try there.

I only wish there was a place in canada that carries a full line of TFR products.

guess will be placing an order to either rc precision or champ really soon

for the outdoor sesson i run the 2mm...and it runs like a dream outrunning any TRF416. see my setups in this forum.
I run the 19T class using the TeamBr00d Kommodo Dragon or Reedy Challenger.
for the indoor i used the 2,5mm - but has shiftet to the TRF416

Took 1st last night in the Sportsman Sedan (medium) A-main with the car pictured above. I qualified 5th, of 8 cars and ended up leading 90% of the race. Once I pulled out ahead (after the pole car's pinion slipped), the other cars started dropping like flies. In the end, only two cars remained. My MSX-MRE, and my buddies EVO-IV.

Tamiya FTW!!!

Im looking to get a TAMIYA TRF416. I have never had a TAMIYA before so Im looking for some advice. Ive been running a RDX, just looking for something different. First off, where can I get one? LOL Second Im looking for a carpet, rubber tire, brushless, lipo setup. What lipo fits? Looking for everything including gearing. What spare parts should I consider also. Planning on ordering some spares when I order the kit. The track is smooth ozite carpet, tight with lap times around 11sec. thanks

If your looking for 416 kits and 416 setups, you might want to try the 416 thread.

Hi
Im not a good driver, but I can give U some hint...
According to your set up, the front shock oil was a little thinner.
That made your front to sink when off power and the rear end rise.
At the moment, all the gravity moved to the front end, so that makes you lose your rear wheel traction. Another thing you can try is to reduce the rear down stop and that will avoid the rear end rise too much and keep the gravity wont change too much at off power. But, I will never change too much for a corner of all track...just try to slow down for that corner a little bit. Sometime, there was some problem with the track.
By the way, the rear toe in 3.5degree was alittle big for a 27t race. That may reduce your top speed. Why you use such big toe in like this? To avoid spin? I think, if you can post more information about your setup, those good guys will help you more...

Sometimes perfection is the only answer ....

For others it could be looking like an electricians worst nightmare and they wont batter an eyelid.... chuck it in and hope it works attitude

Looks good
