Are you talking about the aluminum piece that goes over the centre shaft? The MRE version?

I have the square aluminium knuckles and had the same problem. the only cure is loctide. but make sure you dont put too much or you will risk gluing the whole assemble to gether. use tamiya thread lock as it is tacky to start with you will instantly know if you got it in the wrong place.

But dont take it for granted and check to see if it is secure before your races.

I dont know the track but I won my last race with Rhinehard 2006 setup for eds web site. I just didnt use the toe block spacerson the buttom and the wheel spacers.

40 wt 2 hole yellow springs all around. urethane bussing on the front shocks none on rear. yellow sway bars . it was dialed in rocket.

track was wide smooth with medium grip at around 25 degreesC with medium to high winds...

for a tight track I will use a oneway setup. make sure car is not tweaked.

no, it is 500wt... the rest of the world has to be different , , so they measure shock oil different as well.. the tamiya oil comes in these weights, which the team uses.....

the good thing about Tamiya oils is that they're colored. so if you forget what oil you were running with the other brands, your stuck rebuilding your shocks. with Tamiya, just reference the color to the appropriate weight.

yellow - 400wt is "supposed" to be equivalent to 40wt oil. etc.

they are not a direct conversion 400 isn't = to 40
there is a chart somewhere, maybe tryhard's site

Why do you want to run 40wt's? you have alot of them?

I would reccomend going with the 100's weights as then you can use and/or start from the team setups...
