Which worlds are you training for? Looks like your jumping the spin halyard or the topper and then again you can be pre-loading the afterguy based on the photo. Well, enough of the sailing jargon. Good luck!

Your correct I'm on the halyard there, as the mast man thats my job, just about to go for the kite/spinaker hoist (the really big sail, to non sailing types
). I've been working out so I don't need to bounce/bell ringing it at all, hand-over-hand all the way too the top baby.... 'tis the fastest method. I think we're under 10sec to hoist & set now... need to be faster still though!Can almost (about 2ft short) hand-over-hand the mainsail (the big one at the back) up now, not bad given the rig is about 50ft+ in the air, and weighs about 40-45kg (and thats the new light full-carbon job).
Still looking forward to it, certainly in with a shout of a good result.
Oh, and if anyones interested, and you think RC is expensive, a new mainsail for that boat is about £10,000 (nigh on $20K), and will be good for about a season (7-8months)....

Swan45 Worlds championships, being held over here in cowes early june (there part of this years Swan europeans, quite a few US boats have already been shipped over). Should be 21 boats in all, all the same design, so gonna be really close and tight racing.

Good luck! Thank goodness for boat owners to foot the bill for the sailing team.
I bet your doing a lot of arm and back exercises and plus a lot of cardio. Working the mast is really important position since you are at the nerve center of the boat during any manuvers. Especially during a blow when the helmsmen is screaming at the bowmen for something and you have to relay it and then backup the bowmen to make sure he or she doesn't screw up. And then the crap job of going down below hot and sweaty to re-bundle the spinnaker kite, while the boat is heeled over and pitching since the helmsmen drove the boat poorly through a bad set of waves. But once you think your done, get back on deck to see if it's clear for the next weather rounding. Making sure the bowmen has all the lines lead right and ready for the back of the boat to make up it's mind on what spinnaker setup it wants on the next rounding, bear-away, jibe-set or tack-set. Good times out on the water.

my mre has a wicked push both coming into the turn and coming out of the turn using this setup. i ended up softening the front tons but it still doesnt work like my msx for corner speed. thanks for any help. and my setup is just like the attachment.

That's what I used with foams and it really made a big difference!
Not only was my car faster, but it was also better to drive

Also, try making your steering link flat, without any angle too it. Try putting 2-3mm behind the ball stud, and moving the link back on the hub. This will reduce your ackerman, and stop the front wheels scrubbing mid turn.
